Find Someone Who...
´Find Someone Who´ mill-drill style activities are great for the first day of a new class as they get everybody up and talking. Really helps to break the ice. This worksheet has mixed tenses so always a good idea to check that the students are able to form the questions correctly. With monolingual classes, try putting a total ban on the use of L1 for the duration of the activity.
Students walk around and ask questions e.g ´Can you ride a motorcycle?´. When someone answers yes, they write their name on the sheet. At the end, an option is to check as a class i.e ´How many people can...´ etc etc.
