Fill in the blanks and listening activity based on the Tom Lehrer Song "Silent E". Part 2 of 2. (YouTube link and full lyrics provided)
This wonderful song by Tom Lehrer gives examples of how words change in pronunciation and meaning by adding an "e" on the end. It certainly grabbed my studentsÂ´ attention and got their toes tapping. The 2nd part provides a filling in the blanks while listening activity and all the words to the song on the second page.
