Map of Derby - Giving and following directions
In this worksheet, youÂ´ll find a (real) map of Derby, and directions that your students will have to follow to discover where they arrive, then they will have to guess where they started (harder!) and finally, theyÂ´ll have to give directions (I usually have them act this last part in front of the class). Students usually like this activity, which they see as a game. You can even make it a contest: who can find the point of origin first? The level is simple enough so that it can be used with elementary students.
