Story using Airport Vocabluary
This is a simple story I wrote about a flight home. I tried to include as many airport vocabulary words as possible. I assigned each pair of students a section of the text that they were responsible for. I told them that we would be playing a game after words with the words. I explained that they would be responsible for all the words in their paragraph, not only the words below the text. It was their job to look up the words that they did not know in the text. After giving them enough time to complete this task we then read through the story together,and the students explaining the words they had looked up. Then I split the class up into two groups and played pictionary.
