Imagine� Song - Part One
Listening Comprehension to the song Imagine. I like to add variety, so I included exercises for the original song by John Lennon as well as a cover version by Avril Lavigne. This also gives students the opportunity to discuss and compare both versions. There are some vocabulary exercises on the next page.
I used this song as part of a series of lessons - the next lessons were a reading comprehension and a discussion worksheet which generates meaningful and interesting conversation.
