LOST IN THE SKY - survival game - speaking and discussing in a group and as a class
This is a group activity similar to the "Shipwrecked" game. *** Imagine you are in a hot air balloon with a group of people. But the balloon has a tiny hole and is going to crash within the hour. You have a chance of surviving, if you keep reducing the balloon’s weight. Your only option is to sacrifice people one by one. Who is going to be pushed out of the balloon to save the others´ lives? TASK: Rate from 1 to 12 and start with the person who should be sacrificed first. Then discuss as a group and justify your decisions. Rate again as a group and present your decision to the class.

Get your students talking in a fun way, you could also make identity cards and let them act out why they should stay or not. OF COURSE THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE A FUN ACTIVITY AND NOT TAKEN TOO SERIOUSLY!!!!
