Match the Questions
This is a worksheet I made to review the second week of class with my most basic level students. After teaching them some basic conversation questions and answers, this is a quick review. Part A is a matching exercise, Part B is answering the questions with their own information, and Part C is a speaking exercise with a partner. Fully editable.

Its Nice to Meet You, Too!
This is an easy ice breaker activity for a first day of class. (My class was small but it could easily be adapted to a bigger class). Students must go around the class and learn each others names using the conversation. To make it funnier for my kids, I gave each student a secret name of a famous person to use when they answer. Then we found ou...

"To Be" In Past
This is a simple worksheet used as an introduction for kids to practice with the positive and negative forms of "was/were". It is easy and doesnt involve any questions, so could be used the first day of learning the verb to be in past.

Ever, Just, For, Since and Ago
This simple worksheet was made to check my kids ability to understand the difference between the words Ever, Just, For, Since and Ago, which are all words we learned while mastering the present perfect. Instead of having the students show that they have mastered using these words, this is just to check initial understanding.

My Future Job

My Number Book (6 pages small book)
This is a little book for students to cut out, draw and decorate, to practice the numbers 1-10 and other easy vocabulary. It also works very well to print it out on card instead of paper. I use it for the first week of my most basic kids classes, and little kids always like it, too. The activity can take more than an hour, or you can work on one pa...

3 Past Pronunciations
This is a simple worksheet I made for my kids to recognize the difference in the three past ed sounds. I would read the verbs, and have them shout out if it was pronunciation 1,2, or 3, then write the verbs in the correct columns.
