I am back! I have been away for a while, although I have been stopping in periodically to see how you guys were doing. I am a teacher living in Japan and this site has made my life so much easier. Although I am being pulled in many different directions right now, I thought it necessary to make a renewed effort to give something back to this community and all you wonderful Teachers!

Mardi Gras
I made this for my Japanese students, to help introduce them to Mardi Gras. I included a short reading/listening comprehension quiz with it. The article can be read by the teacher or students and then they can take the quiz to help gauge comprehension. It made for a very fun and intresting class! I hope it does the same for you.

Happy Valentines Day (reading/listening comprehension quiz)
I teach English in Japan and I made this for my 7th grade class. Its a short history on the holiday, which can be read by the students or out loud by the teacher. Their is a short quiz at the end to test comprehension. I know its not very exciting, but this is the first thing I have posted, so I will try to get better at this. I hope this helps.
