Song: Foolish Games (Jewel)
This is a not too fast song, good for practising adjectives and learning new ones. Encourage students to deduce the spelling of the adjective they are unfamiliar with.

Song: Green Day - Good Riddance (Time of your life)
Gap fill focuses on Present Simple, however the metaphors may be more difficult for younger learners. Its a song about the influence of decisions on our lives and given the fact that even younger teenagers still listen to GD it may be a cool addition to your class. As far as I know this song is always the last one at GD every concert ;) Enjoy!

Song: The Man Who Sold the World by David Bowie
The verbs are simple and the song is slow so the students have enough time to fill in the gaps. Optionally you can also use Nirvanas Unplugged version. Key is included (except translations into your mother tongue). Enjoy!

Song: Train - Drops of Jupiter (with key)
The song is about travelling through space and the words Ss have to fill in are connected with space. However, depending on your Ss level, its also a great starter into "What if..." debate about the future (especially now that space travel is mentioned more and more in the news). Hope you like it. Enjoy!

The worksheet covers the vocabulary connected to sport - from names of sports (I had to leave out the pictures because the file was too big). Page 3 covers places, people, verbs, time and other expressions connected with sports. Enjoy

The body and clothes revision test + key
I made this for my young Ss as a revision at the end of a unit. It covers body parts, clothes and colours. The Slovenian translations of the instructions can be changed into your language. Enjoy!

The origin of English words
Its a simple additional activity where students have to define which language the listed English words come from. It helps them to understand that English as a worldwide language also includes words from all languages. The words are simple and the students should know them already. Enjoy!
