MAKE QUESTIONS - SIMPLE PRESENT
This is a three page exercise on make questions, all contextualized in six short paragaphs. Yes or no, WH questions, verb to be, there is/there are, all in the simple present. Question and answers have the same color. A lot of fun. It is really a very good exercise.

WEAR SUNSCREEN
This is definitely THE MOST BEAUTIFUL thing you will ever hear. The students love it. Even if you decide not to use this worksheet it is worth watching the video clip. Unfortunately the nicest one I found had subtitles in Portuguese. If your students dont speak Portuguese it should not be a problem. If they do... well, Im sure you can think of so...

GAME: HOW MANY ARE THERE?
Make two teams and have them count how many of each item there are. They ask each other questions and the team that gets the most right answers wins the game. Limit the time they have to count the objects. I was going to count them and send you the key but then I thought... "life is too short". Have fun!

GAME; WHO AM I?
The purpose of the game is to correctly identify well-known places, things, animals and people through a series of clues. There are five of each. Two teams alternate choosing a clue from 1 to 20 (some of them dont help much but add some information) until one of the teams guesses who the Reader is. Lots of fun. Perfectly editable and you can add m...

VIDEO - Coca cola ad
Coke used this in a very popular commercial that aired during the 2007 Super Bowl. The ad is styled after the violent video game Grand Theft Auto but the message it conveys is far from violent. Instead of actions of anger and crime, the character does good deeds around the town. The song was featured in the movie Bugsy Malone, a musical based on ...

PLACES AND ACTIONS
Students have to match the pictures of places with their names. Thn they have to match the pictures with the verbs and finally they have to say what action (s) can be done in what place(s). My students loved it as it is challenging for elementary students.
