The Solar System
The worksheet has the Sun, and all the planets. The students have to cut and paste them in the correct order, then they can copy the names of the planets in the spaces below the pictures. This provides an extra spelling practice for the newly acquired vocabulary as well.

Cornel Notes-Colors and Shapes
This is format is used in many US middle schools. It is called a Cornel Note. The students learn to take notes and then file their notes in their binder. I made this up for my ESL beginner students in 7th grade. They are colors and shapes. This can be used as a practice, worksheet and/or as a homework. Later it can be filed.

Contractions Cut Outs Matching game Verb TO BE
These are small cut outs for matching game to teach contracted forms of the verb TO BE. You can make them bigger and laminate them. We used them as a quick matching game. The children cut them out and paste them in their notebooks. That targets listening skills - following directions (cut/match/paste) and reading (the matching part).
