I tried this on my class and it worked well. Students do three activities on it.First they write the question, next they match the picture with the question, next they interact and ask the questions then they write a students name and finally they write the past tense.

A bad day
Students read the statements and answer yes or no. They then can write down their yes statements in their note book and read it back to the class. The elementary students that I have used this with have always enjoy this activity.
