This game is actually quite simple but difficult to explain.
Bear with me.
This works with any target sentnce.
First the students choose a sentence; one piece from column A, one from column B and one from column C. They write the sentence in the box with the lock. (You can have them fold the paper under along the dotted line to keep it secre...

Students draw their own 15 ships on the top board.
Then with a partner they take turns saying the sentences. If the sentence square has a "ship" drawn in it then that ship has been hit.
