Its summer!
First of all I have to thank Charmed one for the template Ive used for this worksheet."Grazie". I prepared this pictionary with my 7-year-old school children who googled the words and picked the pictures, typing "public domain" after each word. They understood the importance of respecting rules and felt very proud of themselves. We enjoyed to wor...

007 Secret Message
I use this sort of exercise to have children practise spelling and revise numbers and colours. They play in small groups of 3 and "decode" the message. After that they read the message and do the spelling of each word. They may also write their own message in numbers and tell it to other groups reading the numbers.

Parts of the body
This is the last ws Ill give my little students during this ending part of the school year. They are learning to read and write in English and they appreciated a lot this way of practising vocabulary. Pictures from www.midisegni.it

Do you want to play with me?
This is the last pictionary I upload of this series, I promise! When presenting this lesson, I do not miss the opportunity to talk with my young students on this topic. I say that they can have fun with simpler games than video games and the like.

Are you pulling my leg?
This is one of the activities I propose to my young students to learn idioms. Children first match idioms to their meanings and then they complete the sentences in the second page. Some drawings are from www.midisegni.it

My room wordsearch
This worksheet is a simple wordsearch, as simple as can be! I generally hand out this sort of leaflet when the lesson is almost over: 5-10 minutes before the ring of the bell, just to relax and have fun! Sometimes I organize a sort of "speed contest", the child or the team that complete the ws first win a prize (a candy, a sticker, whatever). An an...

Matching
First of all I have to thank charmed one for the nice template that I can use with her permission. This type of exercise goes after all the work with the various pictionaries. I check if the children have memorized the words with a "matching" exercise: the words are not just below the pictures and they have to choose the correct match. Enjoy
