Love Stinks-- Song for Valentine�s Day?
I played this last year during a Valentine�s Day lesson. The song is great for beginners, because it�s really slow and simple: "He loves her, but she loves him..." My middle schoolers really liked the song and the funny music video. I pre-taught the meaning of "stinks" before they listened. Happy Valentine�s Day! 3

100 Years From Now
Here students make predictions about what the world will be like in 100 years from now. It was interesting to see who among my students were the pessimists and who were the optimists. It�s an interesting start off point for discussion.
