Creature vocab dominoes
This is a worksheet which I have used to accompany my ghost stories worksheet. I use it to preteach the vocabulary about animal parts. Its really just a simple game of dominoes. Enjoy.

Eartquakes 2: How to survive an Earthquake
This is the second part of my earthquake sheet. It can be used on its own as a reading but was originally intended to compliment the other half of the worksheet which practises the third conditional. Can be adjusted to level by getting rid off the fill-in-the-gap exercise and leaving simply a gap to be filled in.

The Clown Doll - A Halloween story
This is a halloween story I used with a group of pre-intermediate students. It can be used as a reading for pleasure exercise but I used it as a class activity. I gave each group a different story and then different members from each group joined a sharing group and they compared their stories and retold them.

Shipwrecked
This is a writing exercise. Part of the story is already written and the students have to complete the rest of the story. For each space there are instructions as to what they have to write (e.g. what happened next?) The interesting thing about this exercise is that during each space (for each question) you should play a song. You can use any ...
