Hi Carinita, I always play Suzanne Vega s song titled "Tom s diner". It has plenty of present continuous forms and the students can even perform the song afterwards! It s great.

I would also recommend Tom s diner by Suzanne Vega. This year I did a follow-up with M.Jackson s Black or white video that you can find here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=srbFX5kDPrc  I only used the first part up to when the song begins. Let the kids watcch it with the sound off because they concentrate more on the image and are much quieter and tell them they will describe the actions after. Then, sound on, watch it again and pause  each action and ask them to make sentences. My .class thought it was great and they said so much. Prepare a quiet wrting follow-up as they get a little excited. Have a good time.
