Hi here is a suggestion

1-semantic mapping on "leisure activities"

2- draw a heart on BB and ask ss to express likes and dislikes by partitioning the heart as a piechart and expressing their preferences.ss may justify their choice for say "watching TV

3-ask ss about how much time should be alloted to leisure activities

4-refer ss to the chart on this link(http://www.bls.gov/tus/charts/chart1.pdf) and discuss its implications .you may compare the american and Moroccan way of life by drawing conclusions from the chart.

5- you may do a matching exercise on the 3 most components of time

a- existence time:the time for  the things which we must do, biologically, to stay, alive (that is, eat, sleep, eliminate, medicate, and so on)

b-subsistence time :time for the things we must do to make a living as in work, or prepare to make a living as in school, or pay for what we want done if we do not do it ourselves

c-leisure time:unoccupied time, spare time, or free time when we are free to rest or do what we choose

After this introduction I usually design a reading activity on the topic if there are none on ss books

NB.You may alter the order or sequence of activities according to your class level and your needs .I hope this will help you.
