But isn �t it strange that there �s no button that just says - delete page 2?

As sophisticated as Word has become - we �re still at the invention of the wheel stage when trying to delete that stubborn extra page!!!QuestionShocked

That �s because the extra page shouldn �t have been created in the first place. Microsoft can �t create a way to delete it, because they would have to acknowledge that Word is doing something it shouldn �t do. Don �t forget their mantra: "It isn �t a problem; it �s a feature."

to add a new page in the same document after the page number 1 all you need to do is to put the CURSOR after the last word , give a CLICK to be sure the cursor is in the desirable place and press the combination:

CTRL+ ENTER.    -) this avoid undesirable spaces in your document made when you simply use the ENTER key

CTRL + ENTER will add 1 page more after your FIRST page. This procedure is fast and you can add how many pages you like using this process as you like. If you like 5 pages you put the cursor in the place you want and continue pressing CTRL+ ENTER more 5 times.
