Hi, I hope all of you are having a relaxing day so as to get strength for the whole week. I just wanted to ask you if there is another word for channel surfing, apart. I think it is AmE and I would like to know its equivalent in BrE.

If you mean going from channel to channel on the TV it �s called channel hopping in England.

zap- [intransitive and transitive] to change channels on a television by using a remote control:
e.g.Dave just sat there, zapping through all the channels.
