I have heard more than one American say: "I have just did that", so I guess there are some grayareas with respect to what is right and what is used....but then again...language changes

Both lit and lighted as past and past participle of light are "acceptable and standard", according to Merriam-Webster s Dictionary of English Usage, despite the claim of a university professor that only the second was proper ; he insisted that lit should be reserved for drunks.

I would use sat for past tense in an active sentence. eg I sat on a thorn.
Seated  seems like a different verb: to seat someone, to be seated eg  I seated my grandmother at the front before I got her a  cup of tea. (Not really all that common though)
Just my tuppence ( 2cents) worth,
Joy
