You should check out the book Eunoia.  It�s by a Canadian author, Christian Bok, and each chapter uses only one vowel throughout the whole chapter.  Check out this link http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today/newsid_7697000/7697762.stm
 

There are extracts from each chapter here - I can�t begin to imagine how long it would have taken to write

Thank you kaz76... It is very interesting... in fact "eunoia"  is the shortest word in English containing all five vowels - and it means "beautiful thinking". 

In the link you provided it says that it took the author seven years to write his book! Amazing!
 
I was just thinking... it could perfectly be used to teach students phonetics, pronunciation, to work on spelling... A great source for that...
