Hi , everyone! After each listening lesson, my students are fed up with having to retell what they have heard. I would be grateful if you can share me some games for checking their understanding and memory about the contents of the listening lessons. |

Hi
I cut up questions (sometimes with the answers on the back - depends on the Ss) and get them to ask each other.
Write a brief summary of the story and get them to put it in order.
Or, if I had access to an interactive whiteboard, I would do a powerpoint and make up a sort of quiz.
When I had big classes, I �d split them into groups and make up answeer sheets. I �d give them questions and they wrote the answers. Then the groups swapped sheets and they marked each other�s work. The winning group would sometimes win a small prize. |
