Can you suggest please???

Can you suggest please???

Dear All...... Can you help me please? I need short....... very short plays, the idea is to practice the past tense. The level of my students is elementary.... veeeeeeeeeery elementary. The simpler the play the better, They are 5th & 4th graders (ages 9, 10 yrs old more or less)

Also, maybe  you can suggest some famous persons that they can represent. That is, investigate a little about their life, important deeds, and maybe dress up like them and talk about this person. No artists or singers please. The principal wants the characters to be people who did something important for mankind, whose life & actions had a special message, moral values, etc.

I m not very convinced about this project, because due to so many festivities we ve had, I m veeeeeeery behind in our textbook, and if I spend too much time working on the role playing and acting, I will definitely not be able to finish the book, but, oh these directors! They just come and demand this, demand that! Agggggghhhhh!

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!!!
