There are a lot of traditional dishes that I would like to know about. At least to see some pictures on the forum. (pay attention to the size, though!)
On Christmas day, Romanians usually have on their table COZONAC and SARMALE. The first one, pound cake, has a lot of eggs, butter and walnuts. The second one, cabbage rolls, must be eaten with MAMALIGA, maize porridge, and sour cream. Do not count the calories, there are lots!
The Romanian cusine has a lot of good stuff, trust me. If you ever visit my country, don�t hesitate to try them. Not to mention the Romanian wine, which is among the best.
