New American Headway

Hello everybody,

I need teachers who teach New American Headway to help me with this.

I ve been given this pamphlet consisting of various teaching materials from different sources, one of which is the New American Headway. I have to go through the pamphlet as a supplementary material for my intermediate students.
I don t know which level the material is taken from but I presume it must be book 3 or maybe 4.

Now, there s a part in the book called Everyday English. The title of this one is I need one of those things...

Here s the problem. Several things are described but there s no answer to any of them. However, I ve figured them all out, though picture f and b on my pamphlet are really hard to see. Patches?! Nail polish?!

In track 18 on the CD, the 5th, 6th, and 9th things are the problematic items.
For the 5th one I guess wall tack maybe?! But maybe double sided foam tape as well, or any other watchamaycallit soft sticky thing.
For the 6th one, push-pin?! tack?!
And for the 9th one, combination padlock?! luggage padlock?! luggage combination padlock?!

I d be really grateful to get the answers to those questions, however, if it s not too much to ask, it would be really great if you could give me the answers to all the questions on the page so that I can make sure all my answers are right. (Well, they don t seem to be "wrong", but I want to make sure they re precise.)

Thanks a million in advance.

Sara
