Spanish tortillas are made with potatoes, egg and onion (some prefer it without it). Of course, olive oil is a must in Spanish cuisine. And garlic too (some people hate their smell, but it ´s used in so many dishes!). 

Here ´s is a picture of one of my "tortillas" (I love them with green pepper!).



As for paella, it has lots of possibilities, but coming from a land so close to the sea, I ´d say seafood is a basic ingredient.




"Riégalo con " (don ´t forget) some red wine in winter, "tinto de verano", "sangría" ( cold red wine with some gin, fresh fruit and cinnamon) or cold beer in summer.



Bread is basic, too.

But these are not myths or stereotypes, these are facts!

I ´d love to know about misconceptions  too!

PS: Douglas, when did you come to Zaragoza?!
