Vocabulary problem - help needed

Please help me -

I know it is "switch on/turn on/off the light! - are there any other verbs one could use (and still sound English) to describe this action???

Thank you!

You can also - turn the light out, put the lights out, put the lights on. These phrasals are used more often as an order or command, but they can also be used in normal conversation too.
