Dear American ESL friends,
A pupil of mine has just been to the USA and he would like to get a certificate as a French learner of the English language in the USA.
Last year, he was on a summer training in England and he took the Oxford test. He would like to do the same in the USA.
Could you tell me where he could take such a test ??

Has just been, meaning he is back home? What grade is he in and what level? The two options I could think of are TOEFL and IELTSI �m not an American though... Sophia

Yes, Sophia, he �s back home. He was in California for a 3 week-holiday.
He is 14.

Hi, There are also tests given by the University of Michigan using American English -- ECPE and ECCE. They are popular down here. You can find some information here. |
