Questioning (Bloom īs taxonomy)

I don īt know whether anyone can help me with this, but it īs worth a try! I have to make a short (5 or 6 minute) presentation on questioning along the lines of Bloom īs taxonomy and ESL students. I thought of showing some really difficult questions - in terms of the language used, which could be simplified so that ESL students can answer. For example If you were to repeat this exercise, what changes would you implement? would become You are doing this for a second time. Any changes? Has anyone done anything like this, or has anyone got any ideas, or examples of difficult questions which could be simplified? Or a better way to approach this topic? Anything I could use as a handout?
Thanks,
Lynne

Hi Lynne,
You might find something useful here:

Perhaps something to this effect:

1 (knowledge): Which auxiliary verb is used with the simple past tense?

2 (comprehension): What is did īs role in this sentence: "You didn īt have pizza yesterday."?

3 (application): How do I form the negative of "I walked to work yesterday."?

Very useful websites, thank you florimago and anaisabel. Douglas, you have given me a great idea. I can do a grid with which language structures are needed for each sort of question.

@ Lynne, that sounds like it would be very useful to many of us - maybe you could post it as a ws - I would definitely download it!

Have a great weekend
