in the canteen or from the canteen?

Hi,

Can we say : Students buy sandwiches from the canteen for breakfast?

and can we say : The canteen sells many sandwiches??

Regards,
:)

Both sentences are perfectly fine. I wouldn t change a thing.

actually, I would change the order of the first sentence:
Students buy sandwiches for breakfast from the canteen.
(otherwise it kind of sounds as if the canteen is for breakfast.....)

Both word orders sound OK. "in the canteen" would be OK, too.
