dear friends,
I work at a primary school in which there is an english li brary. However, this year the amount of students visitimg the library anuutuopd borrowing books is very limited. Any ideas how we can promote the idea of borrowing books. Notice that this doesnt happen to their mother tongue. Also, some of them support that the reason is that they dont want to lose their time during the break |

Set up a very visible graph w/student names and spaces for marking books they �ve read. Give rewards for given amounts of books read, every 5 or 10 and so forth. make it into a competition. When the class as a whole has read a certain amount have some sort of class celebration (my kids love pizza parties). Ed |
