Hi everybody,
I m marking some tests and I need your help.
1. Art is funnier than Geography and Grammar.
2. Art is funnier than Geography or Grammar.
Are they both correct?
Thanks from Italy, Chiara |

I think it s the first : Art is funnier than Geography and Grammar.

I would opt for or . You are not considering geography and grammar as an entity, but as separate disciplines, therefore you need or . But I don t think anybody would quibble about this...
Also, that sentence might be better with more fun than funnier.

I think it s up to the meaning the sentence expresses. If it s an affirmativa sentence just we can say "Art and grammar are funnier than geography". But if it s a question it s better to say "Which one is funnier than geograhpy Atr or grammar".
