Hello my dear colleagues

I have a problem in my conversation class.What �s the difference between "What about you? & How about you?"

Both could be used after the following exchange:

"Hi Paul! How are you?"

"I �m not too bad. What/how about you?"

It �s quite informal.

I don �t think there is much of a difference. For example if I say:

"I have 6 brothers and sisters, what about you?"

it means the exact same thing as

"I have 6 brothers and sisters, how about you?"

I think it �s like the difference between:

"Hale shoma khub hastid?" and "Hale shoma chetor?" They are just different ways to say the same thing.
