Hmm, Tap, just a thought...�if I meant I was arriving late, I�d usually say� �I get to school late.� unless it�s a regular/routinely scheduled late start. I�d usually use �I go early/late (to school) in this way:

In my case I always go early to school - 5:30am -�but depending on public transport, I may get to school late!�
