Hi everyone, I would like to have a few links where I can find free pictures, images, cartoon printables to use when creating worksheets. Thanks all for your helpful feedback. It will be greatly appreciated.

Most of the images are available in three formats - sharp colour / soft colour / black and white line drawings.

3. My suggestion - search with the Google and Yahoo image search tools. If you are not going to publish your work online, it really would be a waste of time to go farther than these. They have options for image types, too - all / clipart / line drawings, etc.

3. Down to the host-site from which you take the image.

I guess as you are asking here, you want to publish here, though.
