 Hi!

"the prevention of gender violence between partners (partner violence) requires that it be addressed before violence erupts."

Is this sentence correct? Suggestions?

It is probably ok the way you said it, but my initial reaction was that I would say requires "addressing" it before violence errupts. (using a gerund after the verb "requires")

A search brought up this similar  sentence using "reaching" instead of "reach":

"Preventing intimate partner violence requires reaching a clear understanding of those factors, coordinating resources, and fostering and initiating change in individuals, families, and society."

I agree with Mary that it is correct as you have it, but her change makes it less wordy, and keeps it all in the active voice.
