educount: for your Bear Hunt book, there is a great Youtube video:

I agree it is a great book and my little ones enjoyed retelling it with that video.

Great idea for a thread, Manon,

The Bear Hunt is a super video - I think it s by Greg Scelsa but I am not sure. The voice seems to be his. I used it last week. Then we prepared a booklet from

My favourite books: Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, by William Steig, Make Way for Ducklings, by Robert McClosky and all the books by Tommie dePaula, Leo Lionni and Eric Carle.
My students love the Black Lagoon series (by Mike Thaler) and all Amelia Bedelia s books (by Peggy Parrish)

Skittles: All your favourites are mine too! I just don t know Silly Sally.

Book in English are very expensive here in Rio and everytime I go to the US I return with a ton of books.

And I like Robert Munsch too! I met him at a teachers conference in Toronto, a few years ago and I have some autographed copies - my treasures!

Anna,
Did you know that you can listen to Robert Munsch tell his stories on his website? Go to the storytime section of http://www.robertmunsch.com/
I also have an autographed copy of Mortimer, which is a hit with the boys.

So wonderful! It will be perfect for my classes (I am a tutor and give private lessons to 1 or 2 students). I will show the book and Robert Munsch will tell the story! How special!
Thanks a lot.
