| | TV Advert - Persuasion
This is the first part of a lesson where the students make their own TV adverts in groups. I first handed out this worksheet, which gives an example of a persuasive TV Ad script for an apple (I took some real apples in the class with me to add to the TV Ad effect!)
I had previously taught my students about similes, giving advice, emphasis and using "because" (see my other worksheets), so I demonstrated how students could use these things to make a simple sentence more persuasive.
Finally, at the bottom of the worksheet are some phrases specific to advertising with the Japanese translation.
See my other worksheets for the next part of the lesson! :)
