Predicting the future - Tarot reading game Predicting the future - Tarot reading game

Game Instructions: Aim: Predict the future using will/won’t. It can be used as a warm up Time: 10 -20 min Material: Tarot cards (cut down and laminate them) + Cards’ meanings Number of players: 2 Procedure: One student is the querent and the other one is the fortune teller. One of the very easiest ways to use the tarot deck is to simply draw one card from it. The fortune teller asks the querent a question he or she wants to know about the future or just ask him/her to think about it. Then the querent shuffles the deck and draws one card from it. The fortune teller interprets how its meaning can fit into the querent’s future circumstances using will/won’t + verb (information of the card taken). Students can change role (fortune teller – querent/ querent – fortune teller). 11 pages including tarot cards + cards´ meanings + Instructions
