What an amasing and wise fairy tale it is! We should teach our sts to read real literature, shouldn´t we? I start a lesson with discussion of the author´s short biography (easy to train Past simple) and before reading we speak about the characters . At the end I ask to complete the moral. Also there are a lot of sentences in direct speech, and it´sa glib excuse to put the sentences into indirect.
