							| help translating some phrases into Spanish
 |
							| Hi
I would appreciate very much some help translating some phrases into Spanish.  It s in order to help a student.  I know, I know, it s never good to translate into the mother tongue, but I feel sometimes with expressions, it is the only way!!

 Here are the expressions:

to spare a couple of minutes

it will be worth your while

 a half-baked idea

 food for thought

 to digest the information

to spend the evening (doing something)

 running out of time.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Note that I am not looking for literal translations, but the equivilent to these expressions in Spanish.

 thank you !!!

							| I guess "food for thought" can be translated as "algo para pensar" or "dar que pensar" I always use word reference to translate words or phrases.
 See you!
