							| Thanks for the great story Yetti.  (and I think you posted it in the right place, this is something it is nice to be able to go back to). Anita, if you make this into a worksheet please let me know.   Douglas | 19 Jul 2009

							| I also think that it was right to  post it here because of two reasons. Not only  it is a funny story to be shared with everybody and, as Ivona has just said, a few of us go to the caf, but also, it depicts a very nice classroom experience that may inspire lots of teachers. I haven t thought of doing something like this before and now, I have realized that it is possible and may be very amuzing for everybody, pupils and teachers. Definitely, I believe that this story is worth sharing with all the teachers who are deeply involved in improving the classroom experience. Maybe those who hurried to advice you to post it in the caf hadn t thought of this possibility. | 19 Jul 2009

							| Dear Damielle
Yes, it did not come to my mind because of two reasons
1-It was posted as a funny story for laughing and the text length was of something too.
2-I cannot think of such a unique and amazing situation with SS aged 19 - 20 it just cannot be or maybe once in a teachers life time. even this teacher was surprised because not waiting for it.
Maybe Show-and-tell can be a good idea in teaching but it cannot be of the same effect at all ages.
And as I said to Ivona, for this reasonable reason and those stated previously I confess I hurried a bit and I do apologize for it. But still I maintain that many people don t respect Victor s wish to reserve some kind of posts for the "Teacher s Caf"

 Cheers

							| I just remembered an anecdote with my 2nd grade student. We were talking about pets and everyone had cats or dogs. I asked if anyone had any other pet and the little blonde angel-like Ivana came up to me and said: "Miss Ivona, we have a rabbit in the freezer. Can i mention IT?"
