Get off the train (not in Mestre!)and follow the people to San Marcos square--you �ll see most of the main stuff. Don �t buy any food or drink in San Marocos square unless you want to pay 5 times too much. If you go a couple blocks away it is MUCH cheaper (and watch for the "copperto" on the menus). Copperto is a fee you pay basically just for sitting at the table.
If she has time take an island tour, they are pretty cheap and very beautiful. I have heard a lot about watching the glass makers in Murano too, some friends of mine loved it. |
