hi, I dont even know your name. Me is Ranjith (An English Teacher in Sri Lanka). Dont worry. You are not alone. We are with you. There are thousands of teachers registered in this site. This is a very useful site to specially teachers. What you got to do is, first you have to countribute your own worksheet. Then you too can download numerous worksheets. -

Hi Cat,
I �m also new in this site and I have uploaded some lessons that I made.
At first, it �s quite difficult, but then when i tried it, it �s really not as I thought it would be.
Thanks for all these nice people, especially the owner of this site.
It really helps me a lot.

I think Cat has some good points. I suggest downloading what you can for now and resizing images later if you need to. I had similar issues with this site and still do. I am grateful for this resource, but everything can be improved, which is all that Cat was trying to say. She brought up some good points that I think Victor should take into consideration and not brush off, like some users are. Good luck Cat! If you do post some worksheets Cat, let me know and I will download them to get you some points! |

Welcome Cat.
I use PowerLITE to compress my graphics - and they look great without having to make them smaller. Others here love to use Ifran. You can also compress pictures in Word.
Try one of these - because to be honest - we have thousands and thousands of fantastic worksheets here - some more than 5 pages long - all in one upload.
So it can be done.
Check out some of the worksheets to get an idea of our work.
Look under Recent contributions on the left of this column!

I completely agree with you. I have up loaded a mere few of the worksheets I have made prior to discovering this site as they are all too big. I like to share my worksheets, at the moment I do have enough points not to worry about them being downloaded, but I do feel bad that I am sure i have downloaded more than uploaded.
I have tens of sheets I have tried to upload but they are too big, and there is no way I have time to redo them all just to make the graphics smaller!
I do think the size problem is something that needs to be addressed, to help teachers strapped for time who can`t resize all of their pictures!

Welcome to the best ESL site on the net Shadow. Your complaint is valid and has been made by many others before you. The edvice given by Libertybell and Zora is the best. Some members here will be welcoming, some will be rude, some will be indifferent - just like everywhere else. If you really want to share try the suggestions given. Maybe you can even delete some of the very heavy grphics if they are not completely necessary.
