							| Hi,
In my country, all subjects are taught in Bahasa Indonesia. English and Chinese are compulsory subjects, and each province have to teach traditional language in schools. So, the children in my place learn Sundanese language, and the children in other provinces learn their own traditional language.

In high school, some schools also teach Japanese and German. :)

							| Hi! In Argentina( at least in the province of Crdoba) English is compulsory in secondary(high)school ( some primary schools have English in their latest years), and Portuguese is  an optional  subject ( not compulsary yet) because it s thought that it s necessary for trade with your country. Moreover, as there aren t enough Portuguese teachers, those who have studied this language in an private institute can be teachers at secondary school!!! | 11 Sep 2009

							| Good evening all, Here in France, it all depends on the high school the children go to. Theoritically, they start a foreign language in second year in primary but it s taught by the teacher and if she knows Spanish, they ll learn Spanish. When they arrive in high school, they can choose on language (here in the East of France English or German) or two which they ll learn until the end of high school four years later. If they choose one language in first year, they ll have to choose another one in third year. Then in senior high school, they can study a third one if they want to. They generally have a choice between English, Spanish, Italian or German. In some schools, they can be taught regional languages, in others, it can be Russian or even Chinese. | 11 Sep 2009
