A: She is driving a wheelchair.
B: She is riding a wheelchair.

Hi Larei,
I love answering questions like this!
I would say:
She is in a wheelchair.
She is in a wheelchair because...
We�ll walk and Sue will be in her wheelchair. (This covers electric/manual chairs and if anyone is pushing her or not)
He was caught drink-driving in his electric wheel chair.
He was driving his electric wheelchair when....... something happened. (This is OK but only for an electric wheelchair.) |

What you say makes absolutely sense but what about those who are able to move the wheelchair themselves by turning the wheels? See Paralympics...  |

Members of the Paralympic team play basketball in wheelchairs. During the game they might drive their chairs really hard.
I would say: He moved quickly to the other side of the court. -- rather than �He drove quickly....�)
(Because these are not motorised chairs)
