							| Just a true story: One of the students - a teenage girl said that her friend is a Duchess.
Well, many fellow students were amazed...
Until she found out the correct word was a Dutch :-DD

PS: Well, I have to admit something... Once I said my family usually ate RAW potatoes and we preferred raw vegetables to boiled...
 Yes, I wanted to say...
 tomatoes :-DDD

							| Hey, Moravc, it s an interesting topic!
Why don t start a thread with such kind of funny things?

A student of mine, when I asked about his favorite sport, answered aloud: "sucker". Everyone understood that he wanted to say "soccer" but the outburst o
of laughing disturbed the class for some minutes before he had the chance to correct it.

							| Doing a round of animal names, one of my students said " a Why" I didn t understand which animal he meant untill I figured out he meant a Lama. (In Hebrew lama means Why? ) I also love it when students say "I m boring" and I usually immediatly agree with them! (they mean of course to say that they are bored -- boring!)   By the way I m Dutch! | 23 Sep 2009
