							| hi dear . I think grammar should be tought.  Students need structures to learn a second language.  It should be different if they acquire the language because they get the language as the firt language.  it occures in  unconcious way.  but learners at the school need grammar.   |  26 Sep 2009

							| Of course teaching English involves grammar... it all comes down to how prescriptively & formally you want to teach it! 
 I tend to follow more of a general descriptive grammar approach for conversation lessons & use prescriptive grammar only when requested or for  �academic � English teaching. You can´t separate grammar (in one form or another) from a language in order for it to be  intelligible
