Which sentence is right :

It was bad time to travel in Paris

or

It was a bad time to travel there

I would say the correct one is the second "It was a bad time to do something".

Definitely the second sentence. For example: "It is a bad time to travel to Europe because the Euro is much stronger than the dollar."
